Annick Antics is a non-hierarchical 'small scale with a big agenda'
environmental clean up collective located in Stewarton, East Ayrshire.
Feeling dis-satisfied with the state of the natural environment in
Stewarton, particularly on the Annick- the local river- a group of
people got together and decided tosimply work together to remove
the rubbish and litter that had been dumped there and either bin it
or recycle it where possible.
Meet ups are regular but not strictly structred, but there is a desire
to continue cleaning up wherever possible. We care for the health
of the environment around our homes and in the rest of the world,
and we see this action of cleaning as contributing to an environmental
movement, both local and universal.
