Or are you just sleeping?
Do you feel present?
Where are the feelings that tell me we are here together?
Walk past, keep moving, don't look, nothing to see.
I cant wait until the weekend.
I am sweating.
My suit is wet.
I can't stop moving.

Slumberers is a new durational solo, choreographed performance that uses the frame of the 9 til 5 working day to explore how alive we can feel and how aware of ourselves we can become. This work is an attempt to simply feel alive by 'working' the body in an alternative, ritualistic way over the course of a typical working day. It was developed over the course of 6 months and first presented at Forest Fringe in Edingburgh, 2009. This work is still in development.
